Use the CHP website for up to the minute road condition and law enforcement information

One of the most important, reliable, and accurate road condition resource is the CHP incident information web site. This site gives detailed information about situations that have resulted in units being dispatched to a location. If a particular incident is clicked on, you can read the communications between the dispatch center and the units responding. The “area” drop down box lets you select which dispatch center you are interested in. The “Media” listing ( which is among all the traffic accidents and such) contains the most relevant Cajon pass status and road condition information. Click on it for the details. The San Bernardino drop down box provides the most relevant information for conditions in the Cajon pass.
