Information itself has no morality or values. Access to it does. Not everybody should have access to every source. Not all information is appropriate for everybody on this planet. This is common sense. An intrusion attack is an attempt by malicious code to access protected parts of your computer. The ideal for an attacker is to insert code that will take over a persons computer without them knowing it. They can then steal data, log your keystrokes, even use your computer to launch attacks on other computers. Reality; People become targets when they are unaware of their environment, and don’t take precautions to avoid being a victim. Never underestimate the potential of being senselessly harmed by a stranger. If you don’t understand this, you are at best, naive. If you choose to ignore it, you do so at your own peril. This isn’t paranoia, it’s the world we live in. It’s why we have policemen. |
